Gnome has had vertically stacked workspaces for a long time. The Gnome 40 update unfortunately made the switch to a horizontal layout. A choice that many Gnome users disagree with. This extension completely replaces the new Gnome overview with something that resembles the old style.
vertical-overview is great, however, I have noticed that it breaks the windowsNavigator extension from the official GNOME extensions repository. ALT-1 in the overview mode just "types" 1 in the command area instead of selecting the first windows in the active workspace.
I wonder, what is the reason and on what side it would be easier to "fix"?
Fedora 38, Gnome 44 with gnome-shell-extension-windowsNavigator-44.0-1 and gnome-shell-extension-vertical-overview-10-2.fc38.noarch. However, it didn't work also earlier.
