System lags when market updates apps #106

I'm using InsertCoin Evolution Sense 1.5 on my Sensation which uses Bricked-3.0
v1.1.
Although the overall performance is fantastic (it has been worse some time
back, but currently it's all very smooth), my phone still lags when the market
is updating apps. The phone is still usable (which also wasn't the case with
some older IC and Bricked versions), but I still feel the impact on
performance. Especially when more than one app is updating (let's say 5 or 10).

I don't know if this can be fixed in the kernel, but it would be nice if you
could look into this. I'd rather prefer slower updates with less need of
performance and a system that remains snappy than a system that updates fast
but stutters. Since I have a lot of apps, there is also a lot of updates and it
would be great if those wouldn't always degrade the overall system performance.

Switching to another scheduler should fix it. Deadline/noop if you are using
cfq atm :)

What's the difference between deadline, noop and cfg?

Okay. Thanks.
Which specific scheduler would you prefer for a regular Sensation?

I prefer cfq, while noop will give you the best performance in benchmarks
