Screen goes black after kernel install + reboot #126

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installing the kernel
2. rebooting
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see my phone and its OS, and instead I see a black screen with the 
capacitive lights on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Bricked-3.0|3.0.36|v1.4. On AOKP Jelly Bean JZO54k

There is no jellybean aosp version for the pyramid at the moment.
