@cmtgreenwood - which operating system do you have? if you are on a windows system, can you please provide the details (windows 8/10, home/pro, 32bit/64bit, etc.,.)
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit X1 Carbon - the virtual machine wouldnt boot
ah - on that machine i think you have to enable hyper-v:
@cmtgreenwood were you able to use VM after enabling hyper-v?
@djarecka @satra @mjtravers FYI I also have to change my BIOS ... which means rebooting :( Will let you know when I get to that !)
Actually no although I didn't give it much time. I managed to get the VM installed on an older computer, and then left town the next day. So I have just brought the older computer. Will have to try later on the new one. A naive enabling of hyper-v was not enough.
@cmtgreenwood Did you try to change the BIOS ? I did (following something like this ) and I could run the VM then
No I didn't have time to try before leaving town.
New error - Not enough memory to run the reprotraining virtual machine
Trying to open repronim-training.ova
vt-x/amd-v hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot
I received this message and don't know if I, or other attendees, should worry about it.
