Revisions to BOSC 2015 abstract #30

The abstract I submitted for the Bioinformatics Open Source Conference (BOSC) 2015 has been accepted. I have now converted it to the BOSC markdown template, and made a few small revisions (such as adding URLs).

Please check the abstract and post any suggestions for text revisions as pull requests or issue tracker posts. I plan to submit the revised PDF on May 18.
