Excited to see expansion in role and functions for editors. So far what I observes throughout researchhub, editor have interesting role in which it cover the traditional editorial task as in journal editor, but also have urge to directly connect with the scientific community beyond just author and reviewer, which is reader/researchers themselves.
With the tiering function, ideally there should also be more responsibility and accountability attached to it. For instance, maybe senior editor will have a capability to approve mini operation budget to encourage certain beneficial activity on ResearchHub through adding extra bounty. So editors could make use of the budget when it comes to community action, instead of paying from their own balance. They would still need to put up a minimum sum to start the bounty, but can have support within the budget to push it further.
@jeffreykoury Should these tiered editors have any other properties? Different badges perhaps?

@le-sun yea ideally a different badge to distinguish the level of editor would be great. Will defer to @yattias on anything here since there will be many more peer review related changes.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. We have a wide spread of current editors from early career scientists through to tenured professorship. Describe the solution you'd like This would require the ability to have admin add an editor and delineate which tier they will be assigned to. The "remove" editor doesn't need to distinguish as an editor will be removed regardless of their tier.
Additionally, the tiering should reflect a difference in the daily drip in the payout schedule so
