Changing the link to point to the most recent version without updating the uploaded PDF could cause confusion. For example, in the paper you shared, the PDF on ResearchHub is v1, so ideally, the URL should also direct users to v1 for consistency. Updating the link to the most recent version would only make sense if there were an automated system in place to fetch and update the PDF to the latest version when a new one is posted on the preprint server. However, implementing such a system would be a much larger task than simply updating the URL. Maybe we need a "Version" field under "Journal" to make it more clear what version of the paper is on ResearchHub?
Describe the bug Preprint PDFs posted on ResearchHub are only ever v1 of the preprints, even when an updated version is available from preprint servers. The link shown on ResearchHub also only links to v1 of a paper (for example, from BioRxiv)
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior Ensure that links to preprints are the most recent version (could possibly remove the "v1" at the end of the URL? If no version is specified, BioRxiv links to the most recent version)
