How can we implement GI into IUHM?

What types of GI can be modeled?
In Rhessys: trees and rain gardens
In IUHM: rain garden, green roof.
What are the parameters to describe the GI? How to make the GI editor communicate with IUHM?
For existing Rhessys GI, user can select template (trees or rain garden) to implement. Each template include vegetation type and soil type labels for Rhessys (which cannot be modified by users).
For IUHM we can create identifier within template, like fields and labels for IUHM soil type.
What should be reported from IUHM output?
