June - July 2017 - Email exchanges between GT and Victor Nwankwo of CUMC of Red Team regarding access to environmental exposures data. Status as of 7/14/17: Victor will be sending GT geocodes with IDs, and GT will return PM2.5 and ozone estimates for 2010 (36-km resolution) and 2011 (12-km resolution).
In the absence of geocodes from CUMC, have started to set up R-LINE for monitors in the NYC boroughs from the New York City Community Air Survey (NYCCAS) to make sure we have all the necessary R-LINE inputs for the NYC region.
Will be good to know when CUMC can send geocodes
R-LINE unit emissions run complete for NYCCAS monitoring locations
Sent follow-up email to Victor re above info and hackathon environmental exposures API. 9/25/17.
Hourly RLINE predictions for NYCCAS locations in NYC are available at: /proj/ie/proj/NIH-DataTranslator/for_RENCI/RLINE/NYCCAS/RLINE.output.NYCCAS.2011.csv
Can use this to show feasibility of using PM2.5 exposures due to near-road traffic pollutants in the NYC region
Hackathon: Kara and Sarav reached out to Nick Tatonetti and Chunhua Weng of Red Team to provide updates on NYCCAS R-LINE data and 2010 and 2011 CMAQ data. Victor has taken a new job and is no longer at CUMC, so Nick and Chunhua are our new contacts.
@karafecho - not sure we have bandwidth, but do you see value in soliciting Red team feedback on EBCR?
@stevencox : Not prior to the hackathon.
Working with Nick Tatonetti and NCATS to establish a new Clinical Data Topic Group.
This issue relates to a potential collaboration between Green Team and Red Team surrounding accessing to environmental exposures data for CUMC's patient cohort.
