Auto FPS Not appearing #48

Hi,

I am using Auto FPS for a few weeks now. Somehow the main screen of Auto FPS is not opening anymore after I click on the desktop icon. I guess it is still working in the background of my system butt the settings screen is not showing up. Also I have checked the system tray, but it is nowhere. I tried also to install the newest version but no difference.

How can I solve this?

If it is not showing in your system tray, it is not running. It is most likely a corrupt config file. Try running the installer again and selecting the remove option, then run the installer again and reinstall it. This will give you a new config file.

I guess it’s running because TLOD is still on 50. The AutoFPS is not visible in the list with installed programs. Running the installer is having the same problem. Nothing happens. Could be your AV program blocking it. Set an exception for it in your AV program's settings. Also try right clicking on the exe file and if unblock is an option do that. BTW, AutoFPS won't appear in Window's installed apps list.

I'm glad you got it working, so I will close this issue now. VFR and IFR flight type differences are described in the readme here.
