1 year ago I will be leading the 2.24 release!
It will include those fixes and a couple more cleanups. It will be the last 2.2.x release, preparing for 2.3 which will drop PHP 7.4 support.
Feel free to test that branch, which should be considered a RC (no packagist for it though, we'll start doing that on 2.3). If you have the opportunity to test it, let me know if anything you use breaks and I'll work to fix it asap.
A number of things have been fixed in the 2.2 branch that aren't part of the 2.2.3 release, could this be released and pushed to packagist please? Thanks!
