Integrate Dialogic XMS for Fax #846

Dialogic XMS needs to expose the Fax capabilities through the JSR 309 Connector first before this can be implemented

@RomanDS I'm adding you here after a discussion with @vfpuglia so that you can notify us when the JSR 309 connector expose that capability. @hrosa can help on design discussions with regard to our own Fax API

Hi everyone, we will need to plan this out. Since, our JSR 309 connector utilizes XMS MSML interface, the best way would be to simply extend the MSML fax package support through 309. I will let you know once I have more details on this effort.

Thanks @RomanDS. That would be great. Do you have any references to the MSML call flow for this particular use case ? When do you think you can have a preliminary answer on this ?

Hi @deruelle, I hate to do that to you :-) but the plan is for connector to expose MSML Fax package as described in 9.11 and 9.12 sections of MSML RFC 5707. Is there some call flow and interface you can share with us on your FAX API implementation?. Note, 309 does not define fax in its specification. I am planning on getting with the team together this week to discuss the feature and will let you know what plan we come up with. Does that work?

Hi Jean, We know what needs to happen. Priority at the moment is to integrate MRB with JSR 309.

Hi Jean, I don’t have them as of yet. Our MRB integration is taking priority at the moment.
