Pooled timer fixes #163

Without these fixes, the pooled timer implementations always reports themselves as not started and the stack fails to schedule transaction timers on them; switching to them simply breaks the stack.

this bug seems to be there from the original version, and moved to affinity version. I will check the outcome of testsuite
