Unable to add members to board

I have registered new users in my test environment and created a new board. However, when I try to add new members to my board, the dropdown does not show the actual member when I type the member's name. Therefore I was unable to add anybody into the board.

Expected Behavior

Should allow adding users to the board

Current Behavior

Unable to add users to the board

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

1. Create 2 new users A & B
2. Log into admin and unblock both accounts. Log out of admin
3. Log in to first one A
4. Create a new board titled "Bug Demo"
5. Try to add member B to the board

• Operating System and version (desktop or mobile): macOS Big Sur 11.4

@gaoyan198 Can you please tell us if the registered users emails are confirmed?

You can check the confirmation of the users email in the Admin Panel users listing page http:///#/users,

@sridhar391 thanks for the response. I have not confirmed any of the users in email because even though I have set my from email address from a legitimate email, still I don't receive any email for the activation.

@gaoyan198 When emails are being sent from local machine and or intranet setup, most mail solutions such as Gmail may flag them as spam and will send them to spam folder. Unfortunately there is no good solution to handle this situation. You may however ask all users of such Restyaboard instance to set up filters in Gmail so that mails are sent to inbox instead of spam.
