The Beta release for the N2 is using 720p60hz as the resolution. Kodi needs to be set at 1080p60hz during boot for it to work, at a cost of gaming performance.
As a workaround, go to RetroArena-Setup > Settings > Kodi then select the option for 1080p then reboot by unplugging/plugging the power cable (this is because reboots will hang).
You can use the same menu to revert back to 720p if you want to test games at their best performance.
