**you could add blocks that make Mario sit down and then slide him a bit like in Peach's secret castle slide

Cool thing, Mario works with the Copycats+ mod! The slopes don't slide but there's a lot more geometry to work with. For Mario to slide I think the hitboxes need to be actually curved, which I'm not sure is entirely possible. Custom Minecraft slopes usually use tiny steps.
