Where do we have colon anyway?
And also playlist and favourites will work if your songs are in internal storage. If they are in sd card, then it's the issue. Since they restricted access to external storages with Scoped storage.
Ah ok, I thought you guys might've been still using the colon like some other music players I should've checked (・_・;). And I just checked, I can add music from my internal storage to favorites and playlists but not music on my SD card.

In android 10 they changed it so that you don't need the colon at the beginning of the file path for a playlist. For example, it should look like this:
/storage/emulated/0/Music/Trilogy/Trilogy - Valerie.mp3
