Describe the bug

Whenever i hit "Options" from main menu or Game menu, everything stays as is, expect all UI is vanished! Music playes, the programs seems to be responding, only I don't see any controls, anything, all UI is gone. No CPU load noticed increasing, no nothing. As if an expection happened and the presentation of the menu stopped unexpectedly half way...

I have waited like 10 minutes, there is nothing "loading in the scenes". It would have finished sometime...

(No mods or whatever, I just downloaded and play the game. Btw, cheers!! It's awesome!! :D )

I think this is a new issue as you said you cannot open the options menu even from the during game pause menu. The logs folder should be located in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Thrive.

If the options menu is to show up it should take less than a second to open (there is a slight lag spike when opening it for the first time). The logs should hopefully have some kind of error explaining what went wrong on your computer. The latest is named just "log.txt" in the "logs" folder. You should grab the log file after seeing the problem again in the game so that the error is likely to be in the log file.

I'll assume this is a windows specific bug and more likely might even be Windows 8 specific.

Extra information is required for there to be any chance for this to be fixed.
