repo browser does not refresh properly

What I did:
I just deleted a tag from a repository using the repository explorer.

What happened:
The tag was deleted, but its folder was still showing (without content) in the 
repository explorer. When I closed and re-opened the repository explorer the 
folder of the tag was no longer visible.

What I expected to happen:
The tag was deleted and its folder did not show in the repository explorer, 
without having to close & re-open the explorer.

Note that the refresh doesn't work properly not just when deleting a folder but 
in almost all situations where a refresh is required.
Mostly visible when folders get deleted or items are added though.
