Our furry friend Red needs to be able to attack enemies. Need clarification on exactly how Red needs to attack others

Red has elemental blasts that emit from the emblems on his hind legs. There may be several kinds of blasts in the long run but for now, let's focus on the default blue wave blasts to keep things simple.
