Ricky: I wish your UI distinguished between the starting marker and the rest of the markers as a seeker. It would be a nice touch to use the hider icon as the markers. I wish the location marker for the user was larger. I would like to see more UI improvements regarding the buttons. When rating the route, the cancel and submit buttons are pretty long compared to the text itself. Maybe put the buttons on the same line so it's also more intuitive that a right click is submit, left is cancel. I like how the login page is stylized, but the cancel button also seems awkwardly positioned. You could color code "easy, medium, hard" to make it easier which option to choose. I would like to see a tutorial on each page for hide and seek so that people will know what the goal of the game is, how to play, etc. The landing page is very clean but I would like to see either a logo or a background to make it more attractive.

Siyu: It’s nice that you added a login page for your app and redesigned the hide and seek icons. What I would like to see for next time is some CSS improvements to the app in general. Some of the layouts can be made prettier. Also it would be nice if you guys add more UI elements to the app to help explain what the player is supposed to do. It is kind of confusing right now if I were to open the app and play it.

Arvin: I liked how you inserted pictures of for the hide and seek buttons, and I liked how you made the task of hiding much harder by not showing a line connecting the dots ( so you don’t know which order the hider walked in). What I would like to see is a more refined looking UI, other than the pictures for the hide and seek button, the app looks a bit bland, so make it look better. I want it to look exciting, change the pins, maybe put something on the map to make it look more interesting. Also, like my team member’s have said, make a tutorial or make it more obvious what to do.

I think your UI would benefit with a little more simplification. In the first page, rather than show a modal by clicking on Login, maybe have the form on the first page. I would also like information on how to play the game on the first page. I would also be careful with having buttons in close proximity, since it might cause users to slip up and press cancel. Finally, play around with different fonts and colors to give the page some more color. To clean up the UI, also consider adding more spacing on certain elements of the page.

I think for the UI, it could be improved with more padding to make the buttons not span across the screen so much. Also the placement of the buttons could be an issue (like for submitting the feedback/rating page, the cancel button is above the submit button, which isn't conventional since users would gravitate towards the first button, so it should be the submit button first. The cancel button could be placed as an X on the upper right hand corner of the screen or just on the right of the submit button (the submit button will still be the first button users see since people read from left to right). And the images for when users choose what they want to play as can be placed side by side as opposed to one column on desktop (it's fine for mobile).

I wish your UI had more consistency with the buttons. For the login page, the login button spans the length of the entry fields but the cancel button is much smaller. I would recommend removing the cancel button at the bottom and replacing it with an "X" in the top right corner. For the Feedback page, I recommend flipping the order of the cancel and submit buttons or making them smaller and placing them side-by-side. This would reduce errors caused by users accidentally clicking one of the buttons on the bottom.

Elements are way too big! Consider condensing them into a smaller box format. Furthermore, maybe some more informational guidelines would help in the login pages? Something to guide the user along as they traverse through your application. It would fill up some space and make the pages more interesting in general.
