I was wondering what this "Firmware anti lost" feature refers to. I couldn't find any references to it in the code itself.

the answer:

the problem was on rev e, some users report that their firmware/saved information will disappear
so on rev g, proxgrind manage to solve this problem and specially mention it to the old users that the problem have been resolved.
it's a very random thing but yeah. A plus points to some users out there
