Can this library be used against Reactive Mongo 0.11? I find it quite useful. If not, can you point me to alternatives or tips on how to accomplish this by myself?

I honestly don't know. I haven't used this library in quite a while. This repo is not maintained anymore.

Your welcome to fork ik and change it anyway you like. I can put a link to your repo in the readme of this repo. Play Json Evolutions might still be in use.
