Clean-up of portmsg to be a bit more clear #115

portmsg confusingly used 'file' for , which would lead to a number of unclear messages like 'file file'

'file' was move to 'moved.txt' and it was clarified this is an example

fprintf's to stderr were modified for consistency and clarity.
