Thank you for reaching out. For those features, you must move up the stack and look into libinput (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput).
I believe it is not implemented because (1) there are not a lot of users and (2) it needs to be implemented and maintained. Unfortunately, I never had the time to pick that up.
Thanks for the speedy response! Hopefully I’ll get a chance to take a look this weekend or next and try and figure out where to start.

Hi, I noticed that multi-touch gesture support is pretty solid for the Magic Trackpad but it’s lacking for the Magic Mouse. Is there a reason for this (other than time constraints)?
Ideally, I’d love to have two finger swiping for navigating desktops and two finger double tap to bring up plasma overview in Wayland.
Happy to look into this myself if there wasn’t a fundamental blocker, however I’ve little-to-no Linux driver experience (yet)
