• Why is location needed?
• Description: does this describe the company, or what they do to fund oss?
• Open source heroes on staff: how specific or vague is this? who is included?
• Funds given [Int] (total): this will probably include estimations, so a range of two numbers makes sense?
• GitHub organization: can be multiple
• for the ways to sponsor, I’d suggest an array of zero-or-more objects, each a way that they sponsor

• Location isn't needed, but it's trivial to get from GitHub. And I think it would be interesting to be able to see who in your given area gives.
• Good point about Description. I was thinking the GitHub field, but it should ideally cover both - perhaps in two fields. This can be hand-written, too.
• Open source heroes was meant to encompass who works there, who does open source. Public affiliations on GitHub, perhaps?
• Funds: A range works for me!
• GitHub Organization multiples: Yep.
• Array sounds good.

Yes, but I have a hunch that data is not very interesting, e.g., what’s Google’s location? I think most entries would be “several places” or “remote”

I don't know about who to include - largely devrels and community people, I think, makes the most sense. Can we keep it open ended?
