Hypothetically, you can check the DNS of a website when you're on it, and see if it is hosted on GitHub Pages. Then, you can search GitHub for a code snippet, and identify the repo directly.
Alternatively, you could also search the HTML of the page for the GitHub repo. Both of these make OSP easier to use.
These should be integrated into a Chrome extension.
