Deliverables

It is useful to think about deliverables of the research projects and report specific achievements. Off top of my head:

• Git contributor track software (published as git repo somewhere) and knowledge (published as wiki somewhere)
• Politeia voting charts (published in two repositories elsewhere, perhaps worth collecting here)
• A lot of things reported in Decred Journal's Relevant External section -- tracking space takes a good deal of time
• What else?

@RichardRed0x, was there anything from your fork analysis that was worth writing up?

As for the contributor tracker, my research ideas proved quite unpopular with some contributors, so backed off that for the moment and haven't done anything with the contributor tracker code other than look for new contributors. I do think we could do some interesting analysis that isn't so controversial though. Like measure the % of various languages over time across all /decred/ repos (are we moving towards javascript?). Or measure individual contributor output over time, but over long timeframes and using relative measurements. Perhaps even de-identifying contributors (is contributor X moving from dcrd to politeia? from go to javascript?).
