conflict between Rename and Titles.txt #137

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Because the rename function write the new name directly into the HDD, so if
titles.txt is used, the new name will not be shown

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I suggest write the new names into the titles.txt rather than into the HDD

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Tested on r217

We'll think about that.

Better to be able to choose between the 2. A pop up "Rename" and 3 buttons.
|titles.txt| |HDD| |Cancel|

I think this would be useless. We already have WBFS rename which renames the
game on
the HDD. If you want to rename the game using titles.txt use a notepad because
thats
what the titles.txt is for.

I personally think messing up the titles.txt with our loader will cause people
complain about that and that its messed up in other loaders or whatsoever.
So we leave it as it is now.
