Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. remome 1 image from sd:/images
2. try and download it
3. it allways says there all missing (83 in my case).. so i thought i'll
download them anyway... got to 100% then checked my images folder on the pc
and 83 images had been overwriten....so its not finding them in the first
place ,just overwritting them...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
R225

Please provide any additional information below.

it was over writing the existing files as the 83 files were timestamped at
exactly
the time the loader down loaded them...

just tried r229 ..

I removed 1 file (mario kart) ... the loader said I had 3 files missing when I
should
be only 1....so i downloaded them and sure enough it downloaded 3 new files...
but I
already had 2 of them.. so I made sure i had all covers in the loader and check
again... this time it said 2 files missing ... when there were none missing...
downloaded the 2 and sure enough again I already had the 2 it downloaded ... so
basically its thinking 2 covers I have arent there and keeps re downloading
them....

I think I know why this happens.
I noticed that it doesnot find the image and says its missing if it has '.PNG'
(in
caps) if '.png' is common it finds it fine and wont redownload. So if you have
the
extension in caps it will say its missing and redownload it.
This was in rev234 I noticed this.

tried the latest rev 236 ... the same mate... still says 2 files missing...

So I deleted the 2 files ,so I knew it really had 2 missing files... ran
usbloader
and it said "2 files missing" .. so i downloaded them ... retried downloading
any
missing covers and what do you know........ "no files missing" ... How
strange....

well i don't know about the last two files but the 83 at first(or atleast most
of
them) was probaly due to the '.PNG' in caps, which the devs should fix,
shouldn't be
hard(unless its fixed already last rev i tried was 236)

maybe you are right....

What ive also noticed is when downloading disc art, if you have 3 number files
(XXX.png)it misses them all and want to download a full new set ... prob only
looking
for 6 number(XXXXXX.png) files...

Not too sure about that since i had all my disc in XXX.PNG and didn't have
download
all them over, for me it was only the ones with caps '.PNG' cause all the ones
I had
as XXX.png stayed and weren't downloaded over.
And by looking at the source code it checks for both 3 letter and 6 letter
names.
