Enhancement: Delete saved config #277

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
For example If I save some game settings with a specific cIOS but then I
want it to change acording to global settings I need to connect the SD to
my PC and delete those game config manually.

I would like to have a way to delete already saved games or global settings
and so restore it to defaults.

Thank you.

Is it needed to make a delete for each game or is it better (and easier for us)
to
delete the whole gamesettings config file at the time the "Default" button is
clicked.

For GlobalSettings the defualt button will delete GXGlobal.cfg i guess.

Do you mean that if you press the default button in a game settings all games
settings will turn to the default values (because the config file is deleted)?

Umm.. I would prefer that just that game config to be deleted. But if that's
too hard
because you need to find that text into the file and delete it... well do what
ever
you consider better and easier. No problem... at least will be a way :)

Sorry It is not fixed. :(

Now if you press default settings. The settings are changed to its default, but
then
lost (see Issue 288).

For me the expected behavior would be that after pressings DefaultSettings, all
saved
config for that game should be deleted and from now on behave as If I would
never
save the config.
