removing package does not restore state #38

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install on freshly flashed n900
2. remove the package
3. reboot

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to use the device as it was prior to installing.
meta keys (shift, bluearrow) do not latch (so the user is forced to press
them simultaneously; and the sym virtual keyboard does not appear when you
press 'blue-sym'. Use any (non-Qt) application with input to test - eg Notes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.11.10-1maemo3 from Extras-devel;Maemo5 10.2010.19-1
