ESC doesn't work when scim-googlepinyin is activated #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install scim-googlepinyin
2. open vim and press 'i' to enter insert mode
3. activate scim-googlepinyin and press ESC

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
ESC should work while scim-googlepinyin is activated, but it doesn't work now.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Well I hate git...
I'm using this reversion:

Maybe this is related:
Cannot CTRL+C/V while scim-googlepinyin is activated.
