the execution gets stuck there. Does that mean my linux is not vulnerable ?

There is basically no information about your setup, what you tried so far, or logs here, so I can't give you any useful advice. Does the fake printer get discovered? What software did you use to queue up a print job? Are you sure you're even still running a vulnerable version of CUPS?

Some generic tips:

• This exploit requires someone with a vulnerable cups version on the same network segment to auto-discover the printer and manually queue up a print job, like can be seen in the PoC video.
• See issue #2 for some discussion around which versions of CUPS are still vulnerable.
• You're using 127.0.0.1 as a listener, are you trying to attack your own host? Other devices won't be able to connect back to that IP.
