DcpMaker.exe problem creating 3D DCPs #27

I wrote to Marc Vandenbosch concerning this problem back in November 2009.

I was using the DcpMaker.exe GUI from opencinematools-1.1.2-bin-win32 to
create a stereoscopic DCP, and I noticed that the final video mxf was too
large. It seems that "image_to_j2k.exe" is using the "-cinema2K 24"
setting as opposed to the "-cinema2k 48" setting necessary for the 250Mb/s
limit.

Has this problem been addressed in the DcpMaker.exe GUI?

Thanks,

Maury Jacks

i would very much like to use the gui for this same type of project. is it
possible for you to make this fix? i would prefer not to manually do the
command line work- the gui is very easy to use, and i would prefer not to shell
out the $ for cineasset (which does exactly what your gui does!).

hope you can find time to work on this.

Hey Dave,
You are clever guy : let's the stupid peoples work for free and you'll just
pick-up free soft and do MONEY with it.
No dear, there are no such things like free lunch. You need to buy software or
if you wish to use OST use it "as is", write on command prompt or program
yourself GUI and post it here.
I'M TIRED OF STUPID PEOPLES THAT WISH TO WIN MONEY WITHOUT ANY EFFORT !
This project and this site is DEFINITELLY not for you. Find another bussines
please and leave us to share profesional experience!!!!!!!

boy, i dropped back in to see if there was any update to this issue to find
this rude unprofessional response, what is the point to have a moderated forum
if not to gather insight. if you read without that chip on your shoulder, you
would have taken my comment as a compliment.

i have spent the time to evaluate the project and after 2 days of setup and
figuring it out, making successful 2d dcp with it, then to find that it will
not make a valid 3D dcp thought i'd make a comment.

all caps, seriously

good bye
