ARGUMENTS ADJUSTMENT NEEDED in DCP FILES for DOLBY SERVER LOAD/PLAYBACK

Dear Guys

As told before congratulations for the project.
Have been testing opencinematools v1.1.1

Was able to code j2c frames from tiff with openjpeg, then wrap those with 
asdcplib, make final 
dcp with opencinematools v1.1.1, we experienced some problems loading final DCP 
on DOLBY 
SHOWSTORE to playback with a barco DCI compliant projector.
Would love to share my final results:

M2V stream inside of MXF is not supported at all, would love if this could be 
fixed as well! Also 
noticed here that someone have fixed this problem, he sent me new executables, 
i can confirm 
they work properly with m2v ES. (Thank you SWK)

The xmlns signature in CPL, MAP's and PKL appears to be wrong, they show "SMPTE 
schemas.." 
instead of PROTOCINE's one; this make unload-able on Dolby SHOW STORE; also 
noticed in the 
source file is present PROTOCINES SIGNATURES but don't know why final DCP's 
show smpte 
signatures instead. Any advice for this?
Also, manually changed the xmlns signatures everything went well.

HASH in CPL files is missing, this sincerely appears to not influent the load 
and playback 
operations on DOLBY SERVER but would be great if could be fixed as well.

<OriginalFileName> is missing in PKL file, this appears to not influent the 
load and playback on 
DOLBY SERVER; same as before.

<PackingList> is present but the TRUE signature is missing.

Also <AnnotationText> for every asset is missing.

Finally only the xmlns signature is important to make actual executable usable 
on DOLBY SERVER, 
i do really appreciate if everything could be fixed in the upcomming 1.1.2 
release.

we are trying to play our dcp´s on a DSS100 , ingest fine but there´s 
problems on the
playback ..  do you have any idea of what could it be ? . 
have you been able to generate and play with the open cinema tools an DCP for 
the
DSS100 ??

What kind of problem you have during playback? You can just start playback or

can not even select any clip?

Hey, buy profesional software  and make money with it. Do not disturbe 
profesionals 
with your bad ideas. opencinematools work PERFECT on all servers (tested by 
me)also 
on dolby server, but you must know HOW.This is NOT softwarwe for making money 
with.Please buy ready software or call post houses.

OPENCINEMATOOL as all the people stay here does not work properly with dolby 
dss100, 
is really impossible  you've tested on the same server succesfully.
even with cpl arguments adustment stereoscopic asset do not work as well simply 
couse mkcpl does not allow creation of stereo cpl file with mxf interop UL 
value.

please before post on this forum read the dci specific, study some doremi or 
qubemaster cpl files and than help in developing this great tool.

You are saying only "his is NOT softwarwe for making money

THE QUESTION IS JUST..WHY?

forgot to tell, dolby dss100 is not a dci compliant server.
Dss200 is a DCI compliant server (with integrated player) so, it can work as 
someone 
said also with smpte signatures.
stereo asset wrapped with smpte Ul values would work properly with new server.

Hi!
We are working on an indie stereoscopic project, and we are struggling to make 
a DCI-
package that works on a dolby dss/dsp100 server. We don't have any money to buy 
software or services, so I hope Copencinematools will do the trick for us, with 
some 
modifications in the xml´s, mentioned in previous threads.
I do have a serious issue with dss100: sometimes when trying to ingest material 
from 
disk, it hangs the usb-port or the drive.
Has anyone seen this.

Regarding the usb port, sometimes it fails, the server continue playback but 
the usb 
access is no longer available, we have to reset the unit to get it to wok again.

About my experience, the problem exist.

Yes.
It's possible transfear files to/from DSS100 using dolby Show Design (tab 
content > 
manage); even on DSS100 using unload content option.

sincerely we didnt get it to workout even logged in as administrator, we didn't 
realize why.
