global input hooks disrupt other applications #2

For example Synthetik Legion via Proton will miss key events when pressing one of the globally hooked buttons.

this is intended behavior of XGrabKey see: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99280

Maybe a different global hooking mechanism is needed...
