I tried to run omeglespyx today and noticed it would sit on the loading symbol,
if i let it sit i got the error message telling me it cant connect and its
probably my firewall, but even after full turning off all av/firewall on my
system, it does not work. I tried using all versions back to 3.1.2, im using
avast antivirus pro, im running windows xp MCE 2005, i have the latest JRE and
java version. im not really sure what the problem is it just suddenly stopped
working.

Did it work fine before? Maybe reinstall by turning your AV off, so the AV
doesn't interfere, and if that works, add it to the exception list.

I had full access 12 hours ago.
I stopped using it and tried again 3 hours ago and received the same issue and
message as everyone else.

Probably unrelated, but I checked microsoft security essentials and found it
needed to be updated. Updating it did not fix the issue.

Could it be that Omegle found some way to block its connection?

Also not an issue at all, but I've been using OSX pretty heavily for the last 2
weeks, and haven't needed to type in a captcha unless using a proxy or VPN
program.

Doing a followup:
The issue disappeared. I took no action to solve it, but I(as of right now)
have regular access.

Hmm. I think I know what is causing this issue. The program does an update
check and uses it as a test to check whether it has an internet connection.
When the update server is down (hosted on atspace) it fails that check.

Next update.
