Add update event fix #7

There is problem that certain devices don't always send an ADDED event - they sometimes just do an UPDATED event. This will handle that case. ALso handles comparing the uuids correctly.

Also - if this has the same commits as your other PR you can either merge that one (then this one will only have the one commit behind I believe) then merge this one, or just close that one.
