Proposed by @Bob-Z on the forum. Various vehicle functions controlled by buttons for easy access and corresponding keyboard shortcuts are shown in tooltips for newcomers to learn.
When you spawn a vehicle a new UI will appear once and for 5 seconds with a notice:
Hovering the mouse on the left of the screen will make the UI visible and you can expand the headers to do various actions:
