9 years ago This is already possible (right?). Lifter's Hughes 500 and Skycrane both use it.
Edit: Actually I don't know if the helis use variable fuel usage (throttle-dependent).

What about simulating gas usage in a car? The gas tank and mileage could be based on the mass of the vehicle and the engine unless the mod author specifies a custom gas tank in the truck file. It could be part of the standard speedo and tacho.
Then the gas tank could be refilled by stopping the car and turning off the engine, getting out and holding down a certain key (maybe for 1 second per gallon/4 liters) of the gas tank).
