Hi quaxi,
there seems to be a problem loading the database on your box. Two questions
came to my mind here:
1) did you already perform a Valerie sync-run in order to build up your PVMC
database of your media collection?
2) do you have an internal hard disk?
Thanks in advance & Cheers, Erik

Hi quaxi,
can you please comment on the status of this issue? Is this problem still valid
on your side?
TIA & Cheers, Erik

Hi Erik,
The problem was, that I removed project-valerie and installed it again.
I did "opkg remove project-valerie*" and also deleted the 2 directories in
/.../engima2/Plugins/.../ProjectValerie and ProjectValerieSync. But if I
reinstalled project-valerie, there was always this greenscreen. So it doesn't
remove anything. My solution was to reflash the image, put project-valerie on
it, and it worked. But there's another solution: Just wait until you get ca. 10
greenscreens. Then it automatically shows something like "... Rebuilding v2
data". Then it works.
So if I ever have to reinstall project-valerie. Where does project-valerie
leaves data? How can I manually set a command that he has to rebuild this v2
data?
By the way: If you have to edit some things manually, that's horrible! The
webinterface jumps every step back to the main page, you edit can't more than 1
movie at the same time. Please, couldn't you find a way to manually edit the
database? It would be much easier with a few scripts than spend hours on
clicking trought this webinterface.
Thanks very much!, quaxi

Hi quaxi,
thanks for the feedback. The Web-Interface can not get modified in an easy way
to allow more modifications at the same time - at least that's what I
understood from the guy mainly involved in the Web-IF implementation...
Sorry... :-(
Concerning your original problem your wrote:

Well - when removing everything did you still use your old database and your
old valerie configuration folder (usually "/hdd/valerie") - or did you erase
that stuff, too?
Thanks again & Cheers, Erik
