Vampire damage soak only works against melee damage? #29

Issue:

Is it normal that damage soak only works against melee damage? Since I noticed that my vampires get obliterated in crossfire but don't get any damage in melee if they get hit. - Sircarius on Discord (1/17/18) Proposed solution: Revisit code and guarantee success.
