R1 Faculty Feedback - Natalie #20

Ryland - Rayman reference is not relevant for 3D. If you don't have any light interacting with your surfaces you might as well not make it in 3D. Not willing to approve something that is all handpainted highlits Morgan - don't see the evidence in the paintings that you would be capable of that. David Guacomelee uses WW style textures - light shafts Mike - scope concerns - 2 characters, boss, and enemy. Cohiesian concerns Marty - toejam and earle has a narrative cohesive element Cesar - fly needs more use than just surprise it is the boss. Rene - what is the relationship between the fly and the frog? should have told us about it. Ryland - these are fixable!

Joe - I almost did not vote for this because of scope concerns..... 2 characters is a scope issue and additional animation... in some ways 3 characters!!! Destruction FX and other 2.5D aspects will add as a scope challenge and its uncertain how you well handle them, stuff like water and other materials I am uncertain your planning for. Likely less rooms are needed here, less characters. Make it even more you and what you are and what you do. Trim some scope down, More you does not mean more content, More you means more of your expression in environment assets. SHOW FACULTY HOW WELL YOU DRAW AND PAINT. Many are not on board because you did not convince them YOU CAN paint those textures, because you did not show that level of push in your VIz dev.... Plus, come on! you can't copy the armadillo project thing and only change 7%... not cool, calling you out on you being better than that.
