I knew about this port but I think it used the base melonDS for pc. By making a port of the android version (which is also a port https://github.com/rafaelvcaetano/melonDS-android) we might get more performance cause it should have similar performance to an android device (?)> https://github.com/Rinnegatamante/melonDS-Vita

Then it would most likely be smarter to make a port based off the Android Source Code instead of using the Android apk itself.
