Why in game low? Also you should just stick to a different Self-Modifying Code setting if the game requires it rather than just keeping swapping it.

The reason I labeled it as "In-Game (Low)" was because the game freezes all the time on Stage 1.

To get around the freeze, I had to restart the game and change one setting on the emulator before starting Stage 1. I only chose Self-Modifying Code as an example because I was trying to see if it helped make the game better but, it didn't make a difference. Of course, you don't have to use Self-Modifying Code but any one setting change will work to getting around the freeze on Stage 1.

Here's a link to the video of the freeze and how I got around it: https://youtu.be/Thv4CE2MJxU

Overall, if the freeze didn't happen on Stage 1, I would've given the status as "In-Game (High)".

SMC type doesn't matter at all, seems that during the loading screen before starting a mission if you press select during that black screen then just press select again the game runs just fine, and I also agree with your settings I put my downclock at 2.960 and it runs pretty dang well.

NTSC GDI settings used: Per Triangle, auto frame skipping maximum, vsync, delay frame swapping, Neon SIMD, Self modifying code-Off, multi threaded emulation.

Can vary 30- 60 fps depending on scene and enemies

Would label playable
