I installed Rise from the windows store, and it looks like it installed successfully but when it launches, it crashes and brings up this notification: Unfortunately, Rise Media Player crashed. Click to view stack trace. I've uninstalled and installed it again, but the same problem happens.

Click the notification. It will show more info about the error. Please send a screenshot of that error please :)

I clicked on the notification, but it just relaunches the app and the same thing happens again. Here is a screenshot of what happens, the picture is on this word document. Screenshot.docx

@joshua106ful use the built in upload image feature instead, I can't view docx files rn. image oh btw i couldn't reproduce the issue.

Picture1 I took this screenshot right before the application closes. This is the first time this has happened to me, I stopped getting the other error that has trouble installing Rise Media Player.

Windows build? Most people using the store version have not had this issue. It’s curious

joshua106ful commented 2 years ago

I'm on Windows 11 build 22000.376

josephbeattie commented 2 years ago

Yeah thats really strange. I’m not sure what more we can do besides ask you to crash the app again, then show the information in Event Viewer.

This is what comes up in Event Viewer.
