@wally-mac maybe this would be a good one to show @chadFHC how to do a Git-Hosted site?

@chadFHC you could start by:

  1. Looking at TemplateDocs for how to get started (also see here. It basically involves copying the contents of that TemplateDocs repo into a docs folder. There are some other plumbing, setup and hook up issues.
  2. Then looking at TAT, BRAT and GCD as examples of content and pages to get started (this one is going to necessarily be really simple).
  3. To get started on the help documentation, you could sell for parts what Geoff did on methods for geoprocessing steps at http://etal.joewheaton.org/price-river-channel-analysis.html.

We can use this as a good learning curve, to get up to speed.

@joewheaton, thank you providing these step-by-step instructions for @chadFHC. Chad please put his as a moderate priority task just behind the BLM Story Map generating that you are working on with Adan and I. You can work on this interspersed with beaver dam inventorying.
