@jb10016 requested that we review the order that DoDs are incorporated in the inter-comparison spreadsheet. Remember that this spreadsheet is used in two places within GCD:
Inter-comparison tool
budget segregation
In the first case, during a sensitivity analysis it is helpful if the order of the DoDs in the spreadsheet has some logical order. e.g. increasing MinLoD values.
In the latter case, when the mask is directional it's important that the mask classes are inserted into the inter-comparison spreadsheet in the correct mask order.
In both cases we want to avoid the user from having to rearrange rows in Excel, which is error prone and can cause cell formula errors.
Unsure if this is a real bug or simply an enhancement to let the user sort the order of the DoDs within the inter-comparison tool.
When creating a budget segregation with a directional mask I now sort the items as they are inserted into the inter-comparison spreadsheet using their mask distance value.
The are new controls on the inter-comparison tool to sort the DoDs as desired. See below.
