This sounds really good. Can you do a little demo of this with the data we just collected? I think we either want to house these on Box (with either a public or password access) or maybe even on our USU ArcGIS Online stuff. We don't want to do this on GIT (not a place for data). What is the process and how laborious? Maybe record a little tutorial?
@joewheaton It's no trouble at all. I'll do this tomorrow if you have a place for this stuff to live - I can also do a short video tutorial on import the forms (although it's really easy)
@wally-mac and @bangen Looks like you all got around doing BRAT assessments in CA. Data looks good, we need to discuss where this stuff goes, and we will can use the output to better refine our data collection forms.
@webernick79, yes we did get around. Thanks to your awesome form! @bangen is the queen of data organization so Sara can you please make a home for this on Box and coordinate with Nick? Thanks!
@joewheaton , @wally-mac , and @bangen here is a link to a web map created from your survey: https://arcg.is/1CXnX4
I think it's public, so you should be able to export, edit, etc...(I think)
Also, from looking at the attribute data there is obviously a lot of room for refinement. I'm more than happy to edit, but I'm also pretty slammed -it may make more sense for us to get somebody else in your lab up and running with survey creation and editing. Like I said, I will send all my development files and they can start where I left off.
Thanks @webernick79. Chad @chadFHC is well suited to take this on. Chad you and I can go over this together.
Okay
@webernick79, it is so awesome to see all these data up on a map. I shared this in our staff meeting today and people were very impressed. Way-to-go!
Yeah @wally-mac the real beauty in this stuff is that when you get home to your desktop a map is just there waiting!
@webernick79 here's a folder on Box to dump the data into. I'll separate it out into specific basins on an as needed basis. Holler if you don't have access.
@webernick79 Hey Nick, I was wondering if we could get together (possibly GoTo, or even just YouTube videos) and walk through the Survey123 process. I will be taking over the creation and editing of the Survey123 soon and I think it would be good if I could listen to you explain it a little bit. I've created some very basic Survey123 apps for beaver dam censusing, but I haven't used any if statements or anything like that yet, so maybe you have some tips and tricks on how to make this run smoothly. Let me know if a time works for you and thanks for any help.
Chad, I’m around. How about a go to this afternoon

Sounds good. Let me know what time and I'll be there.
Chad, I’ll send you a goto for 2 my time, 3 your time if that works?

@joewheaton and @wally-mac , I can make all of the input files used to develop the Survey123 apps available to others. This would allow folks in your lab to import them into Survey123 Connect Desktop, edit them, and use them on other projects. Where would be the place for sharing these? Git? Box?
